Update On Government Shutdown
We at Capitol Hill Stay just want to remind everyone that during this government shutdown, we are happy to work with ALL government employees in regards to rent payments. We can delay rent payments until your department is able to process payments/reimbursements. All of our fully furnished properties are right on Capitol Hill- within walking distance to US Capitol, Supreme Court, Union Station, Eastern Market, and much more. Which can save a lot of money on transportation.
For example: If you start a lease with us say January 14 – April 14, 2019, we will not ask for monthly rent at time of signing or anytime during which your department is not reimbursing you for rent during your stay with us. Please call us or email us if you have any questions.
This applies to government employees that are effected during the government shutdown. We will need to verify with your employer.
