We are also making up to $1000 donation to Team Rubicon for COVID relief efforts for every government/military tenants of three months or longer. Non-government may qualify as well (10 percent of rent up to $1000)

Safety Procedures: Between each occupancy each of our properties is professionally cleaned using only CDC-approved antibacterial cleanings. All linens are professionally laundered using high capacity high temperature commercial washers. Our professional maid service is using social distancing, masks, and other CDC-approved protocol.
Each property also undergoes a full surface antibacterial wipe-down procedure as the last thing the cleaner does before departing.
On request we can keep the property vacant for three days prior to your arrival.
We also provide personal size hand sanitizer for each new booking.

Capitol Hill is the geographic center of the Washington, DC, area. It’s adjacent to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and Senate and House office buildings. Unquestionably the heart of DC – the four quadrants of the city all branch out from the US Capitol building itself.
Capitol Hill has excellent Metro subway service. Orange and blue lines Capitol South and Eastern Market Metro and red line at Union Station are a five to ten minute walk. DC Circulator stops are also easily accessible from any of our properties. Capital Bikeshare bikes are within a block from our properties. Lyft Scooters can also be found all over the neighborhood and can be rented via the Lyft App. Capitol Hill has the best interstate access of any in-town neighborhood.
Everything you need is right here. Countless restaurants that offer everything from world-class fine dining to local diners, first rate fitness facilities, and lots of eclectic shopping. Grocery, dining, and entertainment in walking distance include Eastern Market and Union Market, Whole Foods, Giant Supermarket, Harris Teeter, and The Corner Market and Congress Market.

For each new three month tenant we give 10 percent of rent (up to $1000) to Team Rubicon – a great charity that hires veterans (especially those with PTSD) to provide COVID-19 relief. For one month tenants it’s up to $500. For nightly guests we can usually still contribute something.
COVID Safety – Unlike hotels or most apartment buildings all of our properties have separate individual Heat / AC and ventilation systems. For most of our places there are no shared entrances or shared spaces like elevators or lobbies.
We use a professional cleaner between each guest. That cleaner is social distancing and is masked at all times in the property. They use enhanced cleaning techniques including additional wipe-down of all touch surfaces using CDC-approved disinfectants.
For new guests we provide CDC-approved personal hand sanitizer. If requested in advance we may be able to block off properties for 48 to 72 hours prior to arrival.
Due to COVID we have greatly reduced our rates. Sometimes by as much as 60 percent. We are a small business and this is our sole source of income. Even though our rates are greatly reduced our expenses are even more than usual, with increased cleaning and safety procedures, increased advertising costs, etc. If your budget is above our posted rate please consider letting us know that. In particular if your employer has amount higher than our posted rate please consider letting us know that.
