Capitol Hill Stay is a small local business in the highly competitive Washington DC short term lodging field and we don’t have the unlimited advertising budgets that many of the giant multinational housing providers have.
So we rely largely on word of mouth and referrals.
The Washington DC furnished apartment business is dominated by the very large multinational furnished housing providers.
We like to think we provide a lodging experience that is far more enjoyable, and many of our former and current tenants seem to agree.
To encourage referrals, we offer a referral bonus program. Depending on specifics, it can be anywhere from $200 to $1000 or more per referral. For full per diem stays it may be even more.
Alternatively, we can also make a donation to your favorite nonpolitical charity, or one of our choosing (we often choose something relating to wounded vets). Our default charity is Team Rubicon. They are a very highly rated charity that hires veterans (many with PTSD) to respond to disasters (including COVID-19). See https://teamrubiconusa.org/
